We support various local outreach through our general budget, special offerings, or donations for a variety of causes including:

• REACH cold weather shelter (Hagerstown MD) – food or monetary donations
• Children In Need (Hagerstown MD) – monetary donations and clothes collections
• Tabitha’s Table food bank (Smithsburg MD) – monetary donations and food collections
• Free produce grown at the church garden during summer for the community.
• Brethren Disaster Ministries – volunteers through Brethren Disaster Ministries travel the U.S. bringing skills in carpentry, plumbing, masonry, etc. to assist families in rebuilding homes after a natural disaster. We support our local Brethren Response Auction each spring with donated items, baked goods, and specialty theme baskets.
• Blessing Box (located in the rear of the church & open to all 24/7) stocked with drinks and food items.
• Micah’s Backpack – monetary donations and food drives.
• Back to School supplies – collection for school supplies to distribute to local school children.
• Salvation Army Angel Tree Program – we support donations of age-appropriate gifts or monetary donations at Christmas.
• Quarterly monetary donations through Welty Ministries Fund. These are donations given to a variety of organizations within our local area such as Hospice, Rescue Missions, local schools, food programs, and others.

We also host a summer Vacation Bible School for surrounding areas. VBS is geared for younger children, usually 3 nights complete with bible teaching, crafts, and singing. Lots of fun!
